Megan Franich
Actress, artist, and musician Megan Franich was born and raised in New Zealand. Megan learned her first guitar chords from a friend while sitting on her porch steps in Faraday Street in Napier, New Zealand. The first song Franich learned was "My Girl" by Kristin Hersh. Megan studied at the Victoria University of Wellington. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a sound technician.
Franich made her film debut with two uncredited small parts in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Megan then gave an especially strong, scary, and impressive performance as vicious and grotesque vampire Iris in the brutal and terrifying horror movie 30 Days of Night. Franich lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband Nick and Siamese cat Cricket.
